Beadboard cabinets in simple Shaker style give this kitchen a timeless country look. The beadboard is repeated in the wainscoting at the breakfast bar. These cabinets are finsihed with a glaze over painted wood, but are also available in a variety of hardwoods and finishes. Expect to pay about $250 per linear foot for these face-frame cabinets (plus countertop) (October 2004).
