Chairs: Solid seating

Mission-style dining room chairs are fashioned from solid oak, cherry, hickory or maple and hand-built by Amish craftsmen in Northern Indiana. Chairs have mortise-and-tenon joinery and are offered in a variety of stains and finishes.

If you prefer a softer seat, you can spend a little extra and order leather or fabric cushions. Prices range from $190 (oak) to $220 (maple or cherry) for side chairs and $220 to $260 for arm chairs. November 2004.
