From the makers of Corian comes a countertop that shimmers and sparkles like natural stone, but is low maintenance and stain resistant. The refractive qualities of the engineered quartz Zodiaq come from the natural silica quartz, one of the hardest materials on earth. The nonporous, solid countertop is 93% quartz and 7% resins and colorant. It's offered in 29 colors and in thicknesses of 3/4" to 1-1/8". Price ranges from $50 - $90 a square foot (November 2004).
