A wood-burning stove can reduce your oil or gas, but they do require regular cleaning. Creosote, created by burning wood, builds up in stove pipes and chimneys. Rutland's Creosote Remove changes creosote, a flammable glaze that lines stove pipes, into an ash deposit that can be easily cleaned. Note: The product is not a substitute for professional chimney sweeping.
