Fireplaces: Firebricks

Although designed to withstand extremely high temperatures, firebricks can crack or deteriorate over time.

These buff-colored firebrick replacements are rated to 2,200 degrees. Each brick measures 9" by 4-1/2" by 1-1/4" thick. Firebricks can also be used for new fireplace construction. Mortar should be a refractory cement formulated for for high heat applications.
