New doors often don't fit on old houses, but Marvin vows to work with owners of older and historic homes to create a suitable design, like the custom swinging French door shown here. Basic patio doors come with tempered insulated glass, a solid wood jamb, brass hinges, furniture-grade wood, and composite sill. Extras include transoms, sidelites or non-operating stationary panels. Wood inswing French doors can be ordered with combination storms and screens. To increase usable interior space, there's the Marvin Outswing French door.
