This 27" glass-ceran electric cooktop features four SuperQuick cooking zones, which can heat up and cool down in about three seconds. A red power light glows in proportion to the unit's temperature level.

With its variable cooking zones, the cooktop can accommodate oversized pots and pans. A residual heat indicator warns when the surface unit is still hot to the touch. Clean up requires only a soft cloth, a little soap and warm water. Price is $1,659 (December 2004).
