Mantel Scarfs: Dress Up

More was often better in Victorian homes, especially when it came to decorating. Lace doilies were used on tables and dressers, but were also used on mantels.

Shown here is the reproduction fringed mantel scarf, made with 100% polyester. For obvious reasons, it should be removed before using the fireplace.
