Olde Gel Wood Stain is a time-saving mix of stain and polyurethane finish. Use it for wood trim, furniture and crafts.
The manufacturer suggests that while one coat is adequate, additional coats will give more depth of color.
This product is applied either with a brush or a cloth. After a few minutes, the excess is wiped away.
Olde Gel Wood Stain comes in five finishes: cherry, walnut, pecan, old pine and clear coat. It's available in sizes from 1/2 pint, for $6.75, up to one gallon, at $43 (Sept 2004).
