PermaShake combines the look of cedar shakes with the durability of steel. The corrosion resistant metal shingles are warranteed for 50 years (on residential applications). Color options are tan, brown, red, green or two shades of gray. Available in either .032 aluminum or 29 gauge steel, PermaShake costs $270 a square (aluminum) or $203 a square (steel), not including trim pieces. September 2004.
