Screen Doors: Solid wood doors add style to old houses

You won't find steel, fiberglass or particleboard in these traditional doors from Madawaska. All doors are solid wood with mortise and tenon joinery and full-thickness raised panels. Doors are custom sized and available in 15 standard species including ash, cherry, knotty pine and hemlock. The stile and rail door shown is Model 4220 in cedar. It features raised panels combined with decorative spindles andmoulding and comes with a removable fiber screen insert. These doors are sold through distributors only, but the manufacturer Web site has specifics on dimensions and will provide dealer listings to email inquiries.
