This dual-flush toilet provides a powerful cleaning sweep with a minimum of water. A two-button flush actuator on the tank's top uses a mere .8 gallons for liquid wasate and 1.6 gallons for bulk waste. The average family of four can save about 6,000 gallons of water per year with this parsimonious potty, according to the manufacturer. Some utility companies are offering rebates to help offset the $270 price tag (March 2005).
