Described by the manufacturer as a "luxuriously contoured sitting surface" the Big John seat measures 19" front to back and 19" side to side. Rated at more than 1,200 pounds, it has rubber bumpers on the underside to grip the porcelain surface and prevent slippage. Designed to fit round or elongated toilets, it is available in white or cream. Price is about $100 (January 2005), which includes a lifetime warranty against breakage.
