The germs, fungi and other microorganisms that cholorine kills in drinking water can be a good thing in the garden. This water filter is designed for garden hoses and according to the manufacturer, it restores a natural balance to your soil, compost and plants. The media inside the Gard'n Gro filter removes 85% of chlorine and is good for 20,000 gallons. Price is $45 and replacement filters are $25 (March 2005).
