Vintage lumber salvaged from old buildings was often from first-growth forests. The wood is very dense and strong.

This mixed softwood siding was reclaimed from an old barn, and it's got the original nailholes to prove it.

No need to worry about insects in the old wood; it can be kiln-dried for an additional fee.

Mixed Softwood Barn Wood comes in random widths and lengths.

Price is $3.36 per square foot (September 2006).
