A great old trick my grandmother taught me was to mix liquid laundry soap with water and mist the paper. This usually takes off a layer at a time if done correctly. I'd like to preserve my original wallpaper, but it's under layers of newer wallpaper. Is there a way to remove the old wallpaper a layer at a time and preserve the original wallpaper?
