Restoration Hardware: Pine tree latch

The pine tree latch is a reproduction of an early Massachusetts latch in the collection of A. MacMillan Welch. The original is in a collection on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The latch is one of the many pieces of reproduction hand forged hardware made by this small shop in rural Pennsylvania. In February 2005 the latch was $300 a set.
