Roofing: Pine under pressure

These southern yellow pine shakes are pressure treated to be water repellant, resistant to curling, splinters, mold, mildew, insets and fungus. Backed by a 50-year warranty, the product has been used successfully since the late 1970s.

Natural aging will turn the shakes an even driftwood gray. The shakes are available in a variety of lengths, widths, surfaces and exposures.
