Cultured marble columns are not only attractive and long-lasting, but are capable of bearing significant weight loads. According to the manufacturer, the 6" diameter column (their smallest) can bear up to 9,000 pounds and their largest column (28" diameter) is rated for 50,000 pounds.
This product is a cultured marble and fiberglass composition and can be prefinished or prepainted at the factory (optional). Styles include plain, fluted or twisted in Tuscan, Doric and Corinthian. Material can be cut with carbide tipped saws or drills.
