This Bosch 1275 DVS uses a 3" x 24" belt, so it can be used to sand large, flat surfaces, like a door or cabinet side. But at 12-1/2 lb. its light enough to use vertically.This model has a variable speed feature, allowing the belt speed to be slowed to 1,150 feet per minute helpful for removing material that can gum up under high heat.
