Classic black and white tiles from Florida Tile can be used to bring a vintage look to a new home -- or to restore the tile work of an old house. Bricks are 3" x 6" and coordinating pieces ranging from 2" squares to 4" hectagons and corner and edge pieces are available.A handy online design tool on the manufacturer's Web site allows you to create checkboards, mosaics, octagon patterns -- even tile rugs. The tool then goes on to calculate how much of each type of tile you'll need and provides a layout pattern. Tiles are also available in a biscuit color for those who find black and white too stark.
