Granite is strong, durable and impervious to water, making it a good countertop material for both kitchen and bath. This vanity top can be custom made in almost any size, but stock sizes are 25", 31", 37" and 49" wide by 22" deep. Choose from Giallo Ornamental (shown in photo; quarried in Brazil) Baltic Brown (from Finland), Black Absolute (China) or Verde Uba Tuba (Brazil). Because this is a natural stone, exact shading will vary. Tops come with a back splash and three predrilled holes for faucet. The countertop will need periodic resealing and the manufacturer recommends a resin based penetrating sealer. Price is $255 - $525 (February 2005).
