It may look like a wiffle-ball on a string, but it's actually a water filter for the bath. The Crystal Ball de-chlorinates bathwater. Just drop it into a filled tub and pull it through the water for a few minutes. According to the manufacturer, the media filament inside the slotted ball removes chlorine and also enhances sudsing. The price is about $30 and it will last for about 300 baths. Replacement filters are $20 (March 2005).
