The fabric can also be used for upholstery or draperies.A significant figure in the Arts and Crafts movement, Morris is quoted as saying, "Have nothing in your houses which you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." This philosophy was (and is) applicable to many of his designs which have now been in continuous production for more than 100 years.
