Pine Flooring: Beautiful Bottoms

Rosemary Thornton, contributing editor
Victorian charmerFew things in life look as good from the bottom as they do from the top, but this 1-1/2" thick loft flooring could be the exception.

Made with red pine harvested in northern Michigan, the interesting grain pattern comes from the thick cut and the natural color variations of the species. Offered in 6" widths (which provide a 5-1/4" coverage), this product is tongue and groove on all four sides, which reduces material waste.

With the tongue and groove locking ends, you don't need to fret about the butt end landing on a floor joist.
