For centuries, capitals (which sit atop architectural columns) have been fashioned from wood, but today's modern high density polymers offer a decided advantage. They'll never rot, warp or get eaten by bugs.

The sharp details mimic the look of wood. It also saws like wood, but it's lightweight (for easy handling) and is primed and ready for paint.
