In mid-2000, three do-it-yourself women homeowners founded Tomboy Tools, a company which designs and sells a complete line of tools geared specifically to women. And (thank goodness) they sell no pink tools.

The ergonomic grip on this 8" adjustable wrench is thickly padded for comfort, and sized for women's smaller hands. The wrench sells for $15.95 (September 2005).
