What began as a prop for an HBO television commercial evolved into a unique furniture business. Model maker Michael Miller was asked to create a manhole cover that was lightweight but authentic looking. After filming, he was so enamored of his faux manhole cover that he started thinking of its grander possibilities.

Now he fashions tables and stools using designs from municipalities and utitily companies. Choose logos from New York, Manhattan, Miami, LA, Chicago, Louisville and San Francisco and more.

Handcrafted in New York, the furniture is made with iron and pulverized bronze metal and miscellaneous resins. It's suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
