Step up the elegance of your home with these decorative stair rods. Shown here with a pineapple finial, they're also offered with urn and mushroom finials.

For the rod, choose from a rope pattern, reeded or plain in hollow or solid core (brass). Finish options are dark bronze, pewter, polished brass and antique brass.

According to the manufacturer, rods should be 1-1/2" wider than your staircase carpet.

Lafayette Collection stair rods are $38.50 per rod (with finials) (January 2006).
