Backsplashes: Kitchen Landscapes

Just because they're utilitarian doesn't mean backsplashes have to be boring. These handpainted, brightly colored tiles create a mural up to 4' by 8'.

Each mural is a unique creation designed, painted, and signed by Canadian artist Colleen Chwedoruk.

Tiles can be set and grouted in a steel frame or delivered as individual tiles, ready for installation. The kiln fired, hand glazed tiles are scrubbable.

Tiles are 12" square and can create a mural up to 4' by 8'.

Price is $100 to $175 per square foot (February 2006).
