The term "coffee maker" doesn't do justice to advanced functions of this machine which manufacturer Miele calls a "coffee system."A built-in grinder accepts whole beans and can be adjusted from coarse to fine. Other built-in features include water hardness setting, programmable cup sizes, water (and coffee) temperature setting and multi-lingual LCD display (seven languages).
It can also froth milk (for cappuccino or latte) and displays step by step instructions for the befuddled user.
