"Rock Carpet" sounds like an oxymoron, but this floor covering is actually an amalgamation of epoxy polymers and tiny river rocks. It can be applied over any concrete surface or on a wood substrate, if cement backer board is used.
Its surface is naturally slip resistant, making it ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant.
The 1/2" thick floor covering is suitable for swimming pool areas, driveways and entryways - indoors or out. Custom colors, borders or even insignias are an option. The product does require a special sealant, which must be applied once a year (for outdoor applications) or once every five years if used indoors.
