These raised panel shutters have the traditional look of solid wood, but are made with low-maintenance composites.

Extira, a wood-based composite material that is treated with zinc borate, making it resitant to bugs, rot and decay. The shutters are prepainted with an automotive-grade paint and offered in 20 colors. Manufacturer claims of easy maintenance and durabilty are backed by a 10-year warranty.

Shutters are sold in pairs in varying widths and lengths.

Price range is $115 to $175 per pair, more for lengths greater than 31".
