Reclaimed Lumber: Saving Face

Put up a good front on your rustic cabin with these hand hewn beam faces. The lumber was salvaged from arns and houses built in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Old buildings, slated for demolition, are disassembled and their wood preserved. Each log face is milled to 3/4" to 2-1/2" thick, kiln dried (to kill wood eating insects), and offered in lengths up to 16' long.

The unique imperfections and patina of this wood remain.

Hand hewn beam faces are $6 per square foot (April 2006).

Dimensions: 3/4" to 2-1/2" inches, widths 6" to 13", lengths 4' to 16'.
