In the early 1900s, a blight killed off most of the chestnut trees in America, but this Connecticut-based woodworking shop offers chestnut flooring, salvaged from old buildings and remilled. The butt-edge boards are random lengths and widths, averaging 2' to 12' long and 3" to 12" wide.
For an additional fee, the boards can be milled into tongue and groove.
