Rosemary Thornton, contributing editor
Victorian charmerA piece of history is salvaged and transformed into something new in this console table. The railing (made with both cast and wrought irons) is an original artifact from a late 1800s building in Brooklyn, New York.

The top is Indiana Bedford Limestone with a polyurethane sealant applied. The corner posts are reproduced to complement the original railings.

  • Bolivar Console Table is $2,950 (May 2006).
  • Dimensions: 71" x 16-1/2" x 35".
