Cupboards: Litchfield Welsh

With a history that goes all the way back to 18th century England, this reproduction Litchfield Welsh Cupboard is offered in tiger maple or cherry.

It's handcrafted at a small shop in Northern Vermont and features mortise and tenon joints, mitered and splined corners and dovetails.

The cupboard is finished with hand-rubbed stain and topcoated with a lacquer.

Litchfield Welsh Cupboard is $6,300 (cherry) and $6,975 (tiger maple) (August 2006).

Dimensions: 72" wide x 22" deep x 88" high.
