Terra Cotta: Circling Around

Rescued from certain destruction in an old building, this half-circle terra cotta frieze with twisted columns probably dates back to the first years of the 20th century.

The shield inside the half-circle shows a floral design with a smidge of blue and green.

Half Circular Frieze with Shield measures 57" wide x 31" high.

Price is $3,500 (September 2006).
