Terra Cotta: Dancing Dolphins

Made of terra cotta, this door arch dates back to the first years of the 20th Century. Dancing dolphins accent the piece with its tall keystone and naturally-aged patina.

Salvaged from a demolished Chicago structure, this is one of several ornamental terra cotta pieces offered for sale.

Terracotta arched frieze with dolphin and floral design is priced at $1,400 (September 2006).

Dimensions: 47" wide x 31" tall x 6-1/4" deep.
