Only about 15 percent of the wood's energy goes up the chimney with this highly efficient wood-burning central furnace.

The heat exchanger contains a liquid (propylene glycol) for maximum efficiency and captures heat from exhaust gases. Designed to be used in a central heating system, this furnace burns unsplit wood, seasoned or green.

According to the manufacturer, it burns smoke-free and creosote-free.
