Made with 26 gauge metal, this shingle is galvanized with a zinc coating. The manufacturer recommends the application of paint or sealant, but it's not required.

Designed to replicate the look of a popular Victorian-era shingle, its installation requires some old-world skill. Professional installation is recommended.

Galvanized shingles measure 10" x 14".

Price is $284 per square (October 2006).
