Murals: Italian Courtyard

Trompe l'oeil is French for "trick the eye" and these intricate and detailed murals do just that.

"Italian Courtyard" (shown here) creates the optical illusion of a European garden that stretches well beyond the physical end of the hallway.

Rhode Island-based artists Bonnie Lee Turner and Charles Clifford Clear have been painting residential and commercial murals for 14 years and describe their work as "affordable masterpieces."
