Beadboard

By the late 1800s machinery made elaborate trim and millwork affordable. Victorian homes used miles beadboard or beaded board wainscoting, pine boards milled with a distinctive groove. Beadboard is being used once again to add visual interest to walls. Beadboard can be used for wainscoting, porch ceilings, kitchen backsplashes, hot tub surrounds, and many other applications. You can choose beadboard in wood or plastic, either in sheets or tongue-and-groove boards.
