It just shows, nothing lasts forever.
I PURPOSELY posted this in the "No More Spam" thread....

Re: counterweight access panel on double hung window
Mine have the zig zag cut on my 1914 bungalow. I have one screw at the bottom. I'd go ahead & cut those all the way & see what's there.

Re: 1928 bathroom and kitchen walls,,,
After: new sink floor & tile.jpg tub toilet floor.jpg tub floor.jpg You can't always save every original detail, but as long as you do what you can to restore the feel of the original room, you're doing the place justice. My old floor & sink were nasty 70's or 80's additions. Those got ripped up & I...

Re: 1928 bathroom and kitchen walls,,,
I had it in my bathroom. It was plaster scored to look like subway tile. There was a lot of water damage & more layers of paint than I could ever count. I decided to remove the walls, insulate & put up drywall, then put in real subway tile. I figured it was what they may have originally wanted, but ...

It's hard to see what you're talking about. Can you take a couple other pics & downsize them? I don't think this site can accept the photos that large. I remember posting here from photos on my actual camera & always had to save them nearly half the size for the whole photo to fit.
