I don't see any need to use frosted glass. You don't need to worry about privacy, unless you have someone visiting who is over 7 feet tall.
I like your idea of leaded or stained glass in some of the main living spaces, just to jazz things up a bit.

We had several bats in the attic (not the belfry) when we bought the schoolhouse, but maybe 50 or so. This has to be in the tens of thousands.
