I don't see any need to use frosted glass. You don't need to worry about privacy, unless you have someone visiting who is over 7 feet tall. :D
I like your idea of leaded or stained glass in some of the main living spaces, just to jazz things up a bit.

fishscale shingles and trim along the porch show some Queen Anne influence I would have thought the same thing. Do you have a full shot of the house. We had several bats in the attic (not the belfry) when we bought the schoolhouse, but maybe 50 or so. This has to be in the tens of thousands. :shock:
