Generally there are thing that are good to confirm and update. grounded outlets may not be grounded - you can confirm this with a grfi tester you can buy at a hardware store. pardon me for a moment for not being an origionalist, lol but they sell mortise lock and knob sets and lowes and home depo. there like $ 15-20 and they look just like the ones i had . Though it is kinda interesting to tear one down and clean it up
