What he said. Seriously, take that crap off the house and send it to the land fill. Odds are the wood underneath it is fine. And if there was an additon put on when the did the vinyl and so has no wood underneath it, you can then put REAL siding on that. If I owned it, it would have to go. But then...

I've always heard that a crock-pot works great for paint removal. Just add some Dawn dish washing liquid and water, cook overnight. Never tried it but it sounds easy enough.

I'm very sorry those pics are so big. I have a new camera. I promise it won't happen again. If I can figure out how to make them smaller, LOL.

This is an old house on some property my mother owns. Does this kind of siding have asbestos in it?
