Radiator heaters??

If your house was no longer using the radiator heaters, what would you do with them? Leave or remove or can you even get a unit that will work with them if the original is gone or no longer working?

Re: Need Help with Remodeling 1920s house

I'd get an inspection done even before the spraying if they have an appointment open. The inspector will let you know what insect damage as well as structural damage there is. You will want to know if it is structurally sound and find out how much the big jobs will run. After you know what you are l...

Re: update on house

The white on the brick is effervescence. It has to do with moisture coming out of the brick. You're probably thinking about efflorescence , that whitish haze or "bloom" that happens when salts leach out of brick, concrete, etc. Do you by any chance know how to fix it on an exterior brick wall so it...

Re: update on house

I've got a question for you, if you don't mind, about the brick. In your photo house042 it looks like one wall of brick with the "normal" red coloring to the right and one wall of brick to the left that has a whiting hue. File on them for nonperforming seller if they refuse to sell it and then give them a negative feedback stating facts only. We always gamble when we sell. I don't know how many things I'...

Re: update on house

OMG that house is absolutely beautiful. The structure looks so solid too! I Love the fireplaces, I love the tub and tiles in the bathroom, and the exterior well I love it all. I might be just a wee bit jealous :) . I'm trying to get my own but much smaller brick money pit soon.

Re: Lime Paint

I went to the site and that looks great if it works as well as it says. I like how it gradually wears instead of peeling. There are some really nice colors also. I also saw some Lithomex that I am really interested in. I am hoping to get a brick house and that might be just the thing I need for a fe...
