Thanks it helps. Now I just need to figure out if it has to be a certain type of paint. I'd like to handpaint it if possible.

Old metal deco light fixture needs help

I have become the owner of one old metal light fixture but it has rust on the underside that you wouldn't see where it was mounted, it also has places where the paint is missing as well as has wall paint on it. I'd like to just strip everything off it and repaint but I wouldn't know where to get mod...

Oh that's so wonderful! We normally have a couple of hummers who come by but this year we and most of the others around town who normally see them, haven't. I'm not sure why. So beautiful!

Your house is beautiful. Looks like you did a great job on that stenciling! That light fixture is a definite beauty. I really enjoy seeing photo's, thanks for sharing them.

Ok crazy as it may be I found a claw foot tub minus the feet today and I bought it. :shock: I couldn't help it really. I know we haven't got a for sure on the house but. but. I had to. I've found some for sale before and every time I called they were sold. I saw this for sale on a board at the store...
