Re: Bedroom pics...
Smallest Bedroom because space was stolen from it to make a small hallway. 8x10 and the same amount of room my son had when we lived in the slab ranch built in 1961.

Bedroom with bathroom attached en suite. 12x10. This is the dormer on the second story actually.

Master bedroom (12x17) was just put together simply and is nothing to look at. Needs stenciling and fretwork.
But will be last on the list because it's for us.

Here's the only old thing left in my upstairs. Our guest room has a small dressing room or large light closet, with a built-in blanket chest and cupboard. The purple paint, white carpet and plastic doors are courtesy of our sainted PO Bob, and since the carpet is still newish and purple is my niece's favorite color, we've left it as is.

Before and After Master Bedroom

Repairing Cracks, Fall 2008

Skim coat, and priming Dec 2008

Jan 2009 Valspar "Mossy" for walls to match fabric for draperies. Crown molding to be added last . . . we'll do all the upstairs crown molding as one project in the future. We'll repaint floors someday.

June 2008 My sister made draperies.

My sister's secret to puddling drapes . . . add cotton piping at hem. Just a tiny fluff of the material and they puddled perfectly.

Jan 2009 I covered lamp shade to match drapes

Oct 2008 Repairing cracks in Downstairs Bedroom #1

Downstairs Bedroom #1. Repaired Cracks, Skim coat, priming. Valspar "Bewitch" (same color as bathroom beadboard)

Downstairs Bedroom #1 showing pocket doors

Air conditioned Downstairs Bedroom #1
